The Danish Research School of Anthropology and Ethnography
The Danish Research School of Anthropology and Ethnography supported by the Danish Research Training Council was established to strengthen Ph.D. training in anthropology. The goal is to prepare the next generation of researchers to engage new challenges using the rich potential of our discipline. The School is based at the country’s two anthropology departments: the Institute of Anthropology under the Social Science Faculty at the University of Copenhagen, and the Department of Ethnography and Social Anthropology, under the Humanities Faculty, University of Aarhus.

Graduate School of International Development Studies

SOAR - Research School for Organic Agriculture and Food Systems
SOAR was established in June 2001 through cooperation between the Royal Veterinary- and Agricultural University (KVL) and the Danish Research Centre for Organic Farming (DARCOF), and with support from the Danish Research Agency. SOAR is placed at KVL and offers PhD courses, seminars and a Network for PhD students with interest in organic agriculture and food systems. The research school is open to all PhD students working with organic agriculture and food production, and enrolled at Danish universities. SOAR is also co-financing PhD stipends. COGCI - Copenhagen Global Change Initiative
The Copenhagen Global Change Initiative established in 1999 - consists of a PhD School and a network of researchers in the areas of environment and climate. The PhD School is hosted by the Natural Sciences Faculty of the University of Copenhagen and is operated in collaboration with DMI, NERI and GEUS. COGCI focuses on both Danish and international research. COGCI builds from an integrated network of research institutes, coordinated under the University of Copenhagen, and encompasses all relevant scientific disciplines and cross-disciplinary work which address global, regional and local implications of environmental and climate problems
