Urban Environmental Management in Developing Countries - Environmental Health, Planning and Capacity Development. ReNED Conference held 23 August 2006, Copenhagen
The main objectives of this conference was to discuss pertinent issues within UEM, i.e. environmental health, planning and capacity development in the context of sustainable development and poverty reduction and to identify research needs and provide recommendations for strategies for development assistance including the role of the Danish resource base. Urban Environmental Management (UEM) in developing countries. ReNED Workshop 25 November 2005, Copenhagen
The aim of this workshop was to take stock of past, current and planned research activities within UEM and:
1) Guide future research and development needs
2) Discuss and decide on the need for an international conference on UEM in 2006
3) Bringing together the DK resource base on research in UEM and ensure inputs from Danida and development practitioners.

Joint NETARD/ReNED report: Danish–Nicaraguan Research Collaboration within Agriculture and Environment
The objectives of the workshop were to allow researchers from Nicaragua and Denmark to meet face-to-face and develop their contacts and ideas for joint research projects and to provide the researchers with information on potential funding sources for specific types of research collaboration projects.

The Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) - Linkages to Poverty Reduction and Sustainability. ReNED Conference held 27 October 2005, Copenhagen
The main objectives of this conference was to identify, analyze and discuss opportunities and limitations of CDM with regard to sustainability and poverty reduction, focusing on renewable energy, ‘sink’ projects and capacity development.
